The YD Course with Both Road Tests 2025

The YD Course with Both Road Tests includes in-person classroom sessions and is an MTO approved, beginner driver education course aimed at helping new drivers learn the skills needed to pass their driver's test and stay safe on the roads for a lifetime. This 46-hour driving program featuring our Collisionfree! Approach is intuitive, with interactive theory to be completed in scheduled sessions. A classroom teacher will be teaching the sessions and will be able to answer questions throughout each classroom session.

This program has five components:

1) Theory learning - in-person classroom (20 hours)2) eLearning - online self-paced (10 hours)3) In-vehicle lessons (10 hours)4) G2 Road Test Package (2.5 hours)5) G Road Test Package (3 hours) NOTE: Does not include G Road Test fee payable to book the G Test.

The private one-on-one in-car lessons are provided by provincially approved, annually re-certified instructors.

The classroom theory is designed to help new drivers think like experienced drivers able to identify the problems and solutions needed to avoid each type of collision. It's a way of thinking, presented through interactive discussions and group work, images and videos that will become habitual over the course of this program.

Throughout the course, each student will learn how crashes happen and how to prevent them. For over 50 years, YD has been committed to helping every student become a responsible, competent driver that knows what to do when the real thing happens. We teach our students our exclusive system of 4 habits and 20 sub-habits.

A G1 is not required to begin, and students are eligible to enroll 3 months before turning 16.

We're pleased to offer convenient payment plans. Call for details at 519-753-8805.
