YD Online Course with G2 Road TestBegin your safe-driving journey with Young Drivers of Canada's MTO-approved Online Course, designed to help new drivers pass their test and build collision-free habits for life.
Through our exclusive Collisionfree! Approach, students learn to think like experienced drivers with engaging, interactive lessons they can complete anytime, anywhere.
What's included:
Online theory - 30 hours: Flexible, self-paced modules with videos, animations, images, and text.
In-vehicle training - 10 hours
Receive one-on-one driving lessons from provincially licensed instructors who are re-certified each year. Lessons are typically scheduled once per week in 60 or 90-minute sessions, giving students time to practise between lessons.
Road test package - 3.75 hours
Includes a review lesson a few days before the road test and use of your instructor's vehicle on test day.
This course helps students develop a lifelong safe-driving mindset. Using YD's proven system of 4 driving habits and 20 sub-habits, developed over more than 50 years, students learn to recognize and avoid crash situations.
Start anytime - no G1 required
Students can begin the online portion as soon as they register, even before getting their G1. Anyone within three months of turning 16 may enrol.
