Intersections and Right of Way
Young Drivers offers a selection of in-vehicle lesson packages for drivers that are looking for help from a professional and qualified driving instructor. Don't have anyone to practise with? Let a Young Drivers instructor be your coach!Do you find intersections confusing? Do you avoid certain types of intersections because you are just not sure what to do? Do amber lights make you nervous? This lesson package is for you!
Spend two lessons with a YD instructor and review:
-simple intersections - 2 way and 4 way stops
-traffic lights - understand traffic light changes and how to predict and prepare on approach
-complex traffic lights - multiple turn lanes, advanced/protected lights, bus lanes
-how to deal with pedestrians - when you can go, when you should wait
Your instructor will review many types of intersections with you and provide opportunities to practice decision-making during your lesson.
NOTE: These lessons do need to be scheduled outside of peak traffic time for the best educational value.
