Young Drivers offers a selection of in-vehicle lesson packages for drivers that are looking for help from a professional and qualified driving instructor. Let a Young Drivers instructor be your coach!Spend two lessons (90 minutes each) with a YD instructor and review:
- Basic vehicle control (steering, braking, accelerating)- Where, when and how often to glance around your vehicle to know what is going on around you as you drive
- Blind spots - when to check them and how to use vehicle technology safely
- How to position your vehicle in traffic so you always have an escape route... just in case!
- How to share the road with different road users
- Intersections and traffic lights
- Entering and exiting a freeway
- Driving in freeway traffic
- Route planning and lane choice
- Lane changes at freeway speed
NOTE: The Driver must demonstrate safe vehicle control and decision making skills in order to proceed to the freeway. G1 level drivers must not drive on 400-series freeways with a posted speed over 80km/h unless the accompanying drivers is a licenced driving instructor.
